Prince Group Executives’ Tokyo Property Deals Draw Money Laundering Scrutiny

Luxury property transactions in and around Tokyo involving senior executives of Cambodia’s Prince Holding Group have drawn scrutiny as possible money laundering activity.
Property records reviewed by Japanese media showed that one Chinese-Cambodian executive bought a house on a 1,600-square-metre site in Tokyo’s Suginami ward for more than ¥800 million in cash in October 2025. The property was transferred again shortly afterwards.
Investigators and reporters are examining whether the rapid, high-value transactions were used to move or conceal funds linked to the group. No Japanese criminal conviction has been announced in relation to the deals, and the suspicions remain unproven.
