Global RegTech Summit USA 2026 to Focus on AI, KYC and Financial Crime Prevention

FinTech Global will hold the fifth annual Global RegTech Summit USA on September 29, 2026, at Convene, 117 West 46th Street in New York City, bringing together compliance, risk, technology and financial-crime professionals for a one-day programme focused on regulatory technology.

According to the organiser, the summit is expected to attract around 400 RegTech buyers, with 81% of participants at director level or above. The programme is designed around current compliance priorities facing financial institutions and technology providers.

Financial crime, KYC and AI on the agenda

The official agenda highlights several themes directly relevant to financial-crime compliance. Sessions will examine how financial institutions are using RegTech to respond to evolving financial-crime threats, how artificial intelligence can be applied in compliance functions, and how KYC processes can be modernised without adding unnecessary customer friction.

The summit will also cover e-communications surveillance and approaches to managing regulatory change. Organisers say the event will include a Demo Stage featuring technology intended to address regulatory challenges and improve compliance and risk-management efficiency.

Confirmed participants include senior compliance and financial-crime leaders from institutions such as CTBC Bank New York Branch, Payward, Vontobel, Helaba, Mizuho Americas, Scotiabank, UBS and Comerica Bank, as well as a representative from the New York State Department of Financial Services.

The event reflects the continued convergence of AML, KYC, surveillance, regulatory-change management and AI within the broader RegTech market, with financial institutions increasingly evaluating these capabilities as connected parts of their compliance operating model.
