Socure Reaches $5.2 Billion Valuation and Acquires Fravity to Expand Agentic Fraud and Compliance Operations

Identity and risk intelligence company Socure has announced a strategic growth investment valuing the business at US$5.2 billion, alongside the acquisition of Fravity, an agentic platform designed to automate fraud, risk and compliance operations.

The investment was led by Summit Partners, with participation from Goldman Sachs Alternatives, Wells Fargo, Docusign and other investors. Socure said the transaction includes both primary capital and a secondary tender offer for employees. Reuters reported that the financing totals US$156 million; Socure did not disclose the financial terms of the Fravity acquisition.

Fravity becomes RiskOS_Agents

Fravity’s technology will be integrated into Socure’s RiskOS platform under the name RiskOS_Agents. The company says the agentic layer is designed to automate operational work across fraud, identity and compliance investigations, including alert review and case-management processes, while drawing on Socure’s existing identity and risk data.

Socure closed the second quarter of 2026 with US$364 million in total annual recurring revenue, representing 63% year-on-year ARR growth, according to the company. It also reported 133% net dollar retention and a customer base exceeding 3,000 organisations. These operating metrics are company-reported figures rather than independently audited measures presented with the transaction announcement.

The acquisition adds to Socure’s broader push to combine identity verification, fraud prevention, compliance decisioning and workflow automation on one platform. Fravity’s agent-building capabilities are intended to sit directly on top of RiskOS rather than operate as a separate case-management product.

For financial-crime and compliance teams, the development is notable because it moves agentic AI from general workflow automation into operational fraud and compliance investigations. The practical test will be whether institutions can retain explainability, evidence traceability and human oversight as more alert triage and case work is automated.
