SOOHO.IO and Partior Partner to Connect Korean Banks to Tokenised Deposit Settlement

SOOHO.IO and Partior announced on 26 August 2026 that they have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding to connect SOOHO.IO’s Ezys platform with Partior’s live global settlement network, creating a pathway for Korean financial institutions to settle cross-border, multi-currency transactions using tokenised deposits.
Ezys is an open network developed by SOOHO.IO that aggregates multiple liquidity sources for direct trading. Under the partnership, the platform is intended to compare exchange rates and transaction terms across connected financial institutions, select an optimal route and execute settlement through Partior and other global rails.
Partior currently supports live settlement in US dollars, Singapore dollars and euros. The company says its tokenised-deposit network is designed to reduce settlement delays and cost opacity associated with multi-bank correspondent payment chains while enabling 24/7 cross-border settlement.
Linking Korea’s deposit-token infrastructure to global rails
The two companies said the collaboration is intended to connect South Korea’s deposit-token-based financial infrastructure with international payment networks. SOOHO.IO has previously participated in Project Hangang, the Bank of Korea’s central bank digital currency trial, and plans to use that experience alongside Partior’s production settlement network.
The arrangement remains a strategic collaboration rather than a newly launched consumer payment service. No transaction-volume target, commercial rollout date or pricing was disclosed in the announcement.
For financial institutions, the development is notable because tokenised-deposit settlement moves regulated bank money onto programmable cross-border rails. As these networks scale, institutions will need to ensure that customer due diligence, sanctions screening, transaction monitoring and payment transparency controls remain effective across both domestic and cross-border settlement layers.
