RegTech provider cleversoft has signed a definitive agreement to acquire UK-based FS Assist, a specialist in regulatory reporting software for insurers and pension providers.
The transaction was announced on 11 August 2026 and is expected to close later this month, subject to customary closing conditions. FS Assist serves approximately 350 European insurance companies and supports reporting requirements including Solvency II, IORP and Lloyd’s Syndicate submissions.
cleversoft said the deal will strengthen its Supervisory Reporting business. Following completion, FS Assist customers are expected to gain access to cleversoft’s wider compliance portfolio, which includes financial-crime prevention capabilities such as due diligence, transaction screening, transaction monitoring and fraud prevention.
The planned acquisition illustrates continued consolidation in RegTech as providers combine specialist regulatory reporting tools with broader compliance platforms.
