BGL and OnboardMe Partner to Support AML/CTF Compliance Workflows

BGL Corporate Solutions and OnboardMe have partnered to strengthen AML/CTF compliance workflows for accounting and professional services firms as Australia’s expanded Tranche 2 regime reshapes how newly regulated businesses manage customer due diligence.
The collaboration brings together BGL’s compliance software ecosystem and OnboardMe’s client onboarding and identity-compliance capabilities. OnboardMe currently supports two-way synchronisation of client information with BGL, while its platform combines onboarding, identity verification, AML and PEP screening, structured customer due diligence and compliance records in a single workflow.
BGL has also been expanding its AML/CTF offering through BGL Firm Verify, a cloud-based platform developed for accounting firms. The platform includes firm risk assessment tools, AML/CTF programme support, customer due diligence workflows, identity verification, PEP and sanctions screening, ongoing monitoring and reporting functions.
The partnership comes as Australia’s AML/CTF reforms extend obligations to thousands of professional services businesses. AUSTRAC has emphasised a risk-based approach to implementation, increasing demand for technology that can connect client onboarding, identity checks, risk assessment and ongoing compliance processes without relying on disconnected systems.
For the RegTech market, partnerships of this kind highlight a broader shift toward integrated compliance ecosystems. Rather than treating AML checks as a standalone step, software providers are increasingly embedding identity, onboarding and due diligence controls directly into the operational systems used by professional firms.
